The Urban Assault Ride™ is a truly unique cycling event...and quickly becoming one of the biggest in country! Here's how it works: You and your teammate will set out on a city-wide quest for 'checkpoints' on your favorite two-wheeled steeds. At each checkpoint, you'll drop your bikes and complete a funky/adventurous obstacle course, then remount your bikes and hit the streets for more.
The goal is to complete all the checkpoints in the shortest amount of time. You choose your own route and checkpoint order. This means that the most clever are often the victors. Of course, it may also help if you can pull a mean big-wheel powerslide and fly across an inflatable slip-n-slide ;)
After your pedal-powered adventure, your team will cross the finish line and enter a massive celebration of bikes and beer. The after party is just as much fun as the ride itself, thanks to the craziest raffle prize contest you'll ever experience.

Chicago, IL - Sunday September 12th Benefitting West Town Bikes
The UAR in ChiTown, right outside Wrigley Field. This is a great UAR to travel to since the route takes to you to some really cool spots around Chicago. And to cap it off - a good 'ol fashioned block party! It's a great day to be a rider in Chicago - don't miss it! Of course, with a big city comes a big event, so sign up before we sell out!
Price : Only $30 - 65/person! (Price depends on division and date of registration. You'll get a American Apparel t-shirt, New Belgium schwag like a drawstring back pack, lots of New Belgium beer, free snacks, drinks, donation to charities, and raffle ticket entries!

Mystery Checkpoint Clue: There will be 2 'mystery checkpoints' which all teams will have to locate - in addition to the obstacle checkpoints above. We will provide the clue for the 1st mystery checkpoint on the Thursday before the UAR. The other mystery checkpoint clues will be revealed when you reach the 1st mystery checkpoint.
Bonus Quiz: Take the OPTIONAL bonus quiz before the UAR to gain valuable time. The best scores on the quiz start 1st. . You have from Wednesday to Friday at 5pm to complete your team's quiz.
